Richard Howard Page (1943-1994) enrolled at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, at age 14, graduating with a bachelor's degree at 18, in 1962. He completed a master's degree at New York University in 1965. He also completed a B.A. (1970) at Ambassador College (Pasadena).

He served as an associate professor of history at Ambassador University from 1973-1990. He participated in AU's involvement in excavations at the south Temple Mount directed by Benjamin Mazar and at the City of David directed by Yigal Shiloh. In his later years he worked as a medical technician at Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler, Texas. Mr. Paige died from cancer at age 51. He was survived by his wife Deanne and children Michael and Shoshanna.
