The Epistle of Paul to the Colossians

Colossians 1 (NASB)

18 He is also head of the body, the
church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come
to have first place in everything.
19
24 Now I rejoice
in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which
is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions.

16 Therefore no one
is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new
moon or a Sabbath day 17 things which are a mere shadow of
what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.

Colossians 3 (NASB)

9 Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old
self with its evil practices, 10 and have put on the new self
who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him
11 a renewal in which there is no
distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian,
slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.

Colossians 4 (NASB)
10 Aristarchus, my
fellow prisoner, sends you his greetings; and also Barnabas' cousin Mark (about whom you
received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him); 11
and also Jesus who is called Justus; these are the only fellow workers for the kingdom of
God who are from the circumcision, and they have proved to be an encouragement to me.
